29 January 2012 - the blog app

The blog app keeps things simple. It's a native iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad app that elegantly combines written word and the digital image to bring to you the tools to create your own digital diary. Blog entries are organized chronologically in descending order, grouped by year and fully indexed to facilitate searching for the vaguest of phases. Photos stored on your device can be attached to blog entries to keep that important memory vivid. Once the app is installed, there's no need for an internet connection because your blog is stored locally on your device. Anything you create using the blog app is automatically backed up whenever you synchronize using iTunes or iCloud, so you can always rescue your memories even if you loose your device.

Customisation of the app's appearance is also possible: You can change the wallpaper for the app, the app title and the blog button caption.

As well as personalising the app you can also share your blog entries with friends and family. Quite literally at the touch of a button you can send a blog entry via email, post on facebook or tweet to twitter

Version 1.3 is due March 2012 and boast full and seamless integration with iCloud. This is particularly useful since the blog app is a universal IOS application which you may have installed on more than one device. Writing a blog entry on one device will no longer relegate it to that device. Providing you have an iCloud account, your blog entry will automatically show up on all your other devices.

The app is available now for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It can be downloaded from the iTunes store by clicking on the link below:
